Not sure what to think about this. It’s good to make giving easy. It might be a bit much for some congregations, though.

I just called the allergist to get the results of K’s blood test last week. She tested in the normal range (meaning she didn’t test as if she has an allergy) for egg whites and egg yolks. I’m stunned. I might be able to bake for Christmas this year! I might not have to dread Halloween and Valentine’s Day and Easter! K might be able to be in the same room as a birthday cake baking. It’s hard to walk down that road, though. Once you’ve seen your child gasp for air and nearly stop breathing, you don’t just change overnight even if the test results say you can. I’m doubtful and curious about false negatives in this bloodwork. But oh my, she might have outgrown this allergy. oh wow!
