allergist, part 2

Took E back to the allergist today for the rest of his testing. 3 vials of blood drawn from his little vein in his little arm. oh god, I nearly died. “I want outta here. That hurt me, mommy.” It’s enough to drive you insane; I made T go with me, which was good because it took two of us to hold his legs down and the steady his arm so the needle wouldn’t break. anyway, they are running 3 panels — a milk panel, an environmental panel and food dyes. the results will be back in 2 weeks. This is where we would find out if he is lactose-intolerant since he is not allergic to milk per the skin test yesterday. Again, my nerves are shot.
