What a day and age we live in that we have to clean up clutter that isn’t tangible. I have recently downloaded (from the camera) and then uploaded (to Shutterfly) and then ordered about 300 photos, including many that were just sitting on my hard drive. After getting hard copies of all of them, I put a whole year’s worth of pics on a flashdrive, freeing up an unbelievable amount of space on my computer. Then last night I got a wild hair and began working through my Inbox, which had gotten up to 417 messages in it. Sigh. I love email, but I suck at either dealing with it or trashing it right away. I can do that with snail mail with lightening efficiency: all mail is either filed or shredded or recycled. There is a place for everything that comes to my mailbox out front. Not so with my emailbox. In any case I got the Inbox down to 289, not where I want to be but better than where I was. I’m also printing out a bunch of stuff I saved that I’ve been meaning to print out and then getting those files off my computer. Cleaning up my Home Management folder on my computer is harder than cleaning up my actual home.
